CENTRAL KLAMATH COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM
P. O. BOX 982
CHILOQUIN, OR 97624

The Central County Community Action Team (CCAT) is a volunteer organization based in Chiloquin and serving the communities of Chiloquin, Modoc Point and Fort Klamath and the rural areas of the central county. It provides a public forum for discussion of community issues, is responsible for coordinating implementation of the Strategic Plan for the Chiloquin area, develops projects based on community decisions and seeks funding for such projects.

The CCAT meets monthly, on the first Thursday of every month.
All meetings are fully public, and all area residents are encouraged to participate.
Meetings begin at 6:30 PM, in the Chiloquin Community Center. Meeting notices, newsletters and bulletins are posted to this website regularly.

The CCAT was formed in 1994, as part of the Northwest Forest Plan, to assist timber-impacted communities (of which Chiloquin was one) to transition to diversified economies. Initial support and coordination were provided by the United States Forest Service, and funding for projects was made available through the State Community Economic Revitalization Team (SCERT). Both of these resources have now been largely withdrawn or have expired; however, the CCAT has continued as an independent community group dedicated to fostering a sense of community and to the revitalization, enrichment and enhancement of community life.

The Central Klamath County Community Action Team has finalized Bylaws, which were adopted at the June 5, 2003 meeting, (see bylaws below) with a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary-Treasurer as the officers. You may contact any of the people listed below for further information.
