The Chiloquin Branch Library
The Chiloquin Branch of the Klamath County Library serves not only the Chiloquin area, but surrounding communities within the "Three Rivers" area of Central Klamath County.  A library card may be obtained by any county resident and is valid at all branches of the Klamath County Library.

The Chiloquin Branch Library is located in the new Chiloquin Community Center at 140 South First Street in downtown Chiloquin.  Our open hours are:

Monday - 10am - 2pm
Tuesday - 10am -4pm
Wednesday-Thursday - 10am - 6pm
Saturday - 10am - 2pm
We are closed on Friday and Sunday.
On Wednesday afternoons at 1:30pm, we present a storytime program for Preschoolers.
See our "What's Up?" page for details!

The Klamath County Library is online at www.lib.co.klamath.or.us . Patrons may access the library catalog and other electronic resources in the comfort of their own home, or use the terminal at the library. With an active library card number and password, books may be requested and delivered to Chiloquin or any other library in Klamath County. If you do not have a password, the library staff will be happy to set one up for you. If the item you are searching for is not available within our system, we can often obtain it from another library system through Interlibrary Loan.  A small fee applies for this service.

Books, talking books, videos/DVDs, music CDs, periodicals and other materials are available for loan in the Chiloquin Branch Library.  Most of these may be checked out with a Klamath County Library card. We also have "honor racks" of items that may be borrowed without a card, and a shelf of books for sale.  A collection of reference materials is available for in-library use.  Even more resources are available electronically, including selected journals, magazines, newspapers and auto repair manuals.

Our Public Access Computers may be used free of charge, and include Internet access and office software.  Public use of our photocopier and computer printer is subject to a small per-page fee.

The Friends of the Chiloquin Library (FOCL) is a group of volunteers that provides support to the library. FOCL was instrumental in raising funds for the construction of the Chiloquin Community Center (the new home for the Chiloquin Branch Library), as well as providing funds that allow the library to offer additional services. Recent donations from FOCL include a secure book drop for those times when the library is closed and a beautiful new carpet for the children's section of the library.

The Friends of the Chiloquin Library has published two volumes of Chiloquin's History and Recipes. Details for purchasing copies are available on the FOCL page of this website.
